My name is Matt Floria, and I’m the creator of The Mattrix Breakout Authority.

Like most traders, I didn’t start out knowing what I was doing. I spent years studying charts, testing strategies, making mistakes, and learning some expensive lessons along the way. I know firsthand how frustrating trading can be when you’re constantly second-guessing entries, chasing price movements, or trying to figure out which setups are worth taking.

Eventually, I realized I wanted something more than another vague indicator telling me when to buy or sell. I wanted a system built around clearly defined rules, precise entries, and the ability to identify powerful breakout opportunities as they develop — without spending every minute staring at charts.

So I started building my own algorithms.

What began as an effort to improve my personal trading evolved into a suite of 12 sophisticated breakout algorithms, each designed to monitor specific stocks, ETFs, and indexes for qualifying opportunities in real time. I’ve spent countless hours developing, backtesting, and refining these systems to identify high-potential setups while filtering out many of the false signals that are known to trap traders.

And the results of that work are something I’m incredibly proud of.

These aren’t simply indicators that flash a buy or sell signal whenever a price crosses a line. They’re carefully engineered trading tools designed to recognize specific market conditions, validate breakout opportunities, and provide actionable signals based on a structured set of rules. When combined with disciplined execution and responsible risk management, they can be powerful tools in a trader’s arsenal.

After seeing what these algorithms were capable of, I decided to make them available to other traders through The Mattrix Breakout Authority.

My goal is simple: to give traders access to the kind of tools I wish I’d had when I started. Tools that can help remove emotional guesswork, identify opportunities with greater clarity, and make the trading process more structured and efficient.

Trading will always involve risk, and no algorithm can eliminate losses. But I believe the right tools, combined with the right approach, can make a meaningful difference.

I built these algorithms to transform the way I approach the market. I created Mattrix Authority to give other traders the opportunity to do the same.
